Louis Francescutti
I am very interested in reducing injuries in all age groups and especially in high-risk populations: Aboriginals, workers, drivers, youth and seniors.
I am engaged in hands-on public health advocacy through the Coalition for Cellphone Free Driving. This graduate student-lead initiative was started several years ago and has grown into one of Canada's most active and well-respected advocacy organizations in injury prevention. Together with one of Canada’s leading tobacco advocates, Les Hagen, we teach an exciting hands-on advocacy in public health course each fall.
